Privacy Policy
Effective October 24, 2026
Shelfie: Beauty Expiry Tracker ("Shelfie", "the app") is developed by Artur Zhumabekau ("we"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
Data stored on your device
Products you add (name, brand, category, dates and your shopping list) and their photos are stored only on your iPhone. We do not run servers that receive this information, and the app has no user accounts. Deleting the app, or using "Delete everything" in Profile, removes this data.
Camera and photo library
The camera and photo library are used only when you choose to photograph or pick a product picture. Photos are saved inside the app on your device and are not uploaded.
Notifications
Expiry reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push server is involved.
Subscriptions
Payments are processed by Apple. To check whether your Shelfie Premium subscription is active, the app uses Apphud (Apphud Inc.), a subscription management service. Apphud receives an anonymous app-generated user ID, your App Store purchase receipts and transaction details, and basic device information (such as device model, OS version, app version, country and language). This data is used only to validate purchases, restore them and keep subscription status up to date. It is not used for advertising or sold. See Apphud's privacy policy.
Analytics and tracking
Shelfie contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and does not track you across apps or websites.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your rights
Because your content stays on your device, you control it directly. For questions about subscription data handled by Apphud, or any other privacy request, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version.
